This travel club plans trips for St. James members and their family and friends. During the last trip to South Carolina, they enjoyed the Gullah tours and a cookout with the Coaxum family.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

This department is responsible for preparing programs and offering classes in order to train people for pastoral ministry and other church vocations.
Superintendent, Rev. Zina Thompkins
Church School takes place every Sunday beginning at 9:30 am. Classes are available for all age ranges. So, come out early and learn more about the Bible.
CLASS LEADERS COUNCIL

If you ever have questions or just need a helping hand, your Class Leader is always there to help. Class Leaders are responsible for checking up on the well-being of St. James members.
This ministry oversees food preparation for the various events and meetings at St. James. They also assist with the upkeep and organization of the kitchen facilities.

This club keeps the grounds of the church beautiful with their seasonal and colorful flowers. The butterflies love them too!

The Lay Organization educates the Church on the Discipline, laws and history of the A.M.E. Church, all while keeping the memory of Bishop Richard Allen alive.
NEW MEMBER'S MINISTRY

This Ministry holds monthly classes to aid new members in navigating and understanding St. James as well as the Connectional A.M.E. Church.

This committee provides scholarships to active youth members of St. James who are pursuing a college undergraduate or graduate education.

The Seniors of St. James get together for a monthly fellowship filled with fun, food and good times.
